On July 17, 2025, visionaries, researchers, and doers gathered for the first MR4B conference at the Adlershof Technology Park. Exciting project presentations, a discussion on technology transfer, and a summer party despite the rain marked a day dedicated to mixed reality.
On July 1, 2025, we attended the summer party of the buildingSMART regional group Berlin at HTW Berlin. Prof. Silvia de Lima presented exciting insights into our joint MR4B research projects LiDAR2BIM and KEPLER. It was a successful event that provided a great opportunity for exchange and new ideas around BIM!
From March 31 to April 4, 2025, the WIR! alliance MR4B – Mixed Reality for Business presented practical mixed reality solutions at the Hannover Messe trade fair. Highlights included the AR demonstrator #MR4SO and innovative projects such as KEPLER and Handbuch2AR. State Secretary Dr. Severin Fischer and Minister Daniel Keller visited the alliance.
Exciting exchange at Dürr in Bietigheim-Bissingen! The focus was on discussions with experts from engineering, documentation, and IT about the new version of PlantEngineer. Together, we discussed customer requirements, innovative ideas, and future developments.
From February 24 to 28, 2025, X-Visual Technologies hosted a hackathon week with our MR4SafeOperation project partners. Together with TU Berlin and Rösberg Engineering, we developed an AR-supported sampling system for hazardous areas. The demonstrator was successfully tested – next stop: Hannover Messe 2025, Hall 13, Booth D66!
At the LiDAR2BIM project meeting on February 25, 2025, at HTW Berlin, the optimization of digital recording and modeling of technical facilities using LiDAR and BIM methods was advanced. The findings from the project will be incorporated into the MR4B projects KEPLER, MR4SafeOperations, and the MR data hub and will support innovative solutions.
