Creating custom shape properties – How it works with PlantEngineer

PlantEngineer is intelligent P&ID software for planning and documenting process engineering plants. As an add-on for Microsoft Visio, it extends Visio with functions specifically designed for plant engineering and the process industry.

In this webinar, we will show you

how you can define custom shape properties yourself and use them to tailor your flow diagrams to specific project requirements. With the integrated Property Editor, you can flexibly define properties such as name, type, and visibility and assign them directly to the desired shapes using drag & drop.

This allows you to capture exactly the information you need—from technical data to project-specific attributes—in a structured, evaluable format that is directly integrated into the P&ID.
