The P&ID is the central document for plant planning. Thanks to a new engineering application, process states can now be visualized in the P&ID. This enables direct communication between process and automation engineering and makes integrated engineering a reality. Part of the automation engineering preliminary planning can thus already be carried out in the Plant Engineer P&ID software.
